The Theme: Winter Stories & Fairytales We are looking for a lead artwork that explores the theme of "Looking Up"-drawing the audience's eyes to the stunning heights of the Minster's architecture to discover children's stories and fairytales. We want to celebrate the stories that have shaped us, from traditional folklore to the modern-day fairytales created with Rotherham's own children. The theme is intended to: Encourage Wonder: Use the Minster's ceilings and high spaces to create a sense of magic and scale. Celebrate Childhood: Focus on children's stories and fairytales that resonate across Rotherham's rich diversity. Involve Young Voices: Incorporate the ideas, voices, or artworks of community members, children, and young people into the final piece. Unite Communities: Use storytelling as a cross-cultural bridge to bring people together during the winter months.
