rb&hArts is inviting artists to propose for a new commission to develop two artworks exploring the themes of organ donation and transplantation, including hope, generosity, connection, renewal and the gift of life. One artwork will be for Royal Brompton Hospital and one for Harefield Hospital.

We welcome proposals for sculpture, wall-based and mixed-media works suitable for healthcare environments. We are particularly interested in artists with experience in participatory practice, co-creation, public art, healthcare or socially engaged approaches. The selected artist will work with patients, donor families, transplant recipients, staff and other stakeholders. Budget: £9,000 inclusive of VAT, covering research, engagement, design, production and installation.
