Full details

If the recent weather has affected your ability to submit your application to the Arts Capital Investment Fund by the original deadline of 12 noon on Friday 3 July, please contact us as soon as possible. Please email capital@arts.wales. We will consider requests for an extension until midnight on Sunday 5 July on a case-by-case basis. Arts Council of Wales, in partnership with Welsh Government, is pleased to invite arts organisations, buildings and venues across Wales, to apply for capital funding. This programme will support capital projects that improve arts infrastructure in Wales and deliver clear public benefit. Funding can support buildings, equipment, digital infrastructure and other long term investment that helps organisations remain accessible, resilient and future ready. We expect to award up to £8million in funding for capital projects that can be delivered within the 2026/27 financial year. All applications must clearly demonstrate that the proposed project can be completed within this timeline with evidence of expenditure submitted to Arts Council of Wales by 4 March 2027. Projects that cannot meet these deadlines should not apply at this time. Applicants should read the full guidance (found below in the Help section) to understand the priorities of this fund. You should also refer to the Standard Conditions of Grant for Capital Projects (found below) which outline the terms that successful projects will be required to meet. A key consideration during our assessment will be how you evidence the need for your project and what impact it will have on how you run your organisation
