Non-profit organisations and individuals Maximum grant Up to £200 for individuals and £7,500 for organisations Eligible area Godmanchester Deadlines 1 August Grants for organisations The Looker Energy Environmental Fund makes grants to projects that: • Promote, for the benefit of the public, the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment, including action designed to mitigate the effects of climate change, in the civil parish of Godmanchester and in Portholme, which is in the civil parish of Brampton. OR • Advance the education of the public living, working, and studying in the civil parish of Godmanchester in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment, including action designed to mitigate the effects of climate change. Grants for individuals Individuals who live in the area served by the fund can apply for an educational grant of up to £200. They are available to assist in the study or research of the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment, especially with respect to mitigating the effects of climate change. Individuals wishing to apply should contact the Foundation to request an application form. To encourage people in their local community who share their concern for the environment, Looker Energy will make a contribution every year to The Looker Energy Environmental Fund, directly related to the amount of renewable energy they have produced.
