Home Mills & Reeve Cambridge Grassroots Endowed Fund Overview The fund offers grants of up to £2,000 for projects building stronger, healthier, inclusive and sustainable communities. The key funding priorities are: • Children and families • Adults facing life crisis • Adults with health conditions Examples of funded projects The Edge Café CIC received £1,400 for a new catering-grade cooker. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra received £1,500 towards the delivery of a music-making project with young people in Cambridge who have complex mental health conditions and eating disorders. Cambridge Street Pastors received £670 to provide replacement equipment for the NightLite project, a drop-in, safe space in the centre of Cambridge every Saturday night. Cambridge Acorn Project CIC received £2,000 to provide schools with skilled, experienced and qualified supervision to help them manage difficult behaviour in school and provide effective interventions to support all children.
