The Chief Constable's Foundation Community Grants The aim of this grant scheme is to: • protect vulnerable people • reduce crime • safeguard the neighbourhoods and communities of Devon. Devon & Cornwall Police is a community, whose members contribute their time, knowledge, experience and skills to support a wide variety of projects, groups, voluntary organisations and charities across the force area, transforming the communities they live in, serve and support. Grants between £500 and £2,000 are available. We will fund organisations which strive to achieve these aims that are addressing: • Disadvantage and deprivation • Building thriving communities • fostering safer neighbourhoods Applications will be considered on an on-going basis. Whilst we will do all we can to ensure that we can remain open for applications for Community Grants throughout the year, in exceptional circumstances we may have to temporarily close for applications.
