International Touring and Environmental Responsibility Programme The International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) programme offers up to 15 places for Scotland-based performing arts professionals, companies, venues and organisations to attend a seminar programme, followed by an invite to apply for funding. Do you tour or collaborate internationally? Are you looking to develop more environmentally responsible approaches to this work? We've joined Round 5 of the International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) programme, unlocking up to 15 places for Scotland-based performing arts professionals, companies, venues and organisations on this well-established training programme. Programme Structure A joint partnership with Danish Arts Foundation, Arts Council Norway, Arts Council England, Julie’s Bicycle, and In futurum, this unique programme aims to foster relationships between artists and companies based in Denmark, Norway, England, and now, Scotland, supporting them to develop new, environmentally responsible approaches to international touring and collaboration. Phase 1 consists of two seminar programmes, for beginners and for advanced practitioners. Co-delivered by Julie’s Bicycle and In futurum, the seminars are delivered online, in an interactive environment where you will learn, share and network with the other participants. Following completion of the seminar programme, participants will be invited to apply for funding in partnership to seed fund concepts that came out of the programme. This could be for creation of artistic work, exploring new models of presentation or distribution, or research and development. The successful partnerships will be awarded up to £40,000.
