We fund organisations in Scotland we already support. Funding helps you test new ideas, improve your work, or grow your organisation.
Who can apply
Types of organisations You can apply if you currently have funding from us, and your organisation is a: • constituted voluntary or community organisation • constituted group or club • registered charity • Scottish charitable incorporated organisation (SCIO) • not-for-profit company • community interest company (CIC) • community benefit society Board or committee members You need at least 2 board or committee members who are not related. We consider people to be related if they: • are married or in a civil partnership • are in a long-term relationship • live together at the same address • are related by blood • are related through a long-term partner All companies that apply must have at least 2 directors who are not related in any of these ways. This also applies to companies that are also registered as charities.

It supports organisations to: • try out new ideas and ways of working • develop their organisation and improve their current work We offer £300 to £50,000 for up to 2 years. We fund organisations of any size. Who can apply To apply, your organisation must: • currently have funding from us for one or more projects • work with people affected by poverty, disadvantage or discrimination • involve the people you support in designing how you work To help us decide which applications to fund, we’ll look at what your organisation does and how it works, as well as what you’ll do with this funding. What we’ll fund The organisations we fund must meet at least one of these outcomes: • overcome challenges and plan for the future • try out new ideas and ways of working You can meet both outcomes, but it will not improve your chances of getting funding. What we’ll not fund We do not fund the staffing or delivery of existing services, or the expansion of these services to new locations. See 'What we are hoping' to fund for more details.
