The UK Government has launched the Visa Fees Reimbursement Scheme for Scale Ups (VFRS4SU), a targeted grant scheme to help UK scale ups in Clean Energy, Life Sciences, and Digital and Technologies hire internationally by reimbursing eligible visa application fees for specialist hires and their dependants.

The Department for Education (DfE) are pleased to announce that the Schools Water Strategy is now inviting applications for the Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in Schools Grant Scheme. The aim of the SuDS in Schools grant is to reduce surface water flood risk in the school estate. This is a match funded scheme and therefore, at the DfE’s discretion and where the scheme criteria allow, the DfE can grant fund up to 50% of the total project costs. The Legal Services Advisory AI Growth Lab provides innovators and adopters with coordinated access to regulators, helping them to understand how current regulation applies to cutting-edge technology so they can bring products to market faster. The Lab will accelerate safe and responsible AI adoption and innovation in the legal sector and improve access to justice for the public by enabling high-quality, faster and more affordable legal services. Participants will receive coordinated engagement with relevant regulators and delivery partners. Participants will not receive funding.

One river walk has already been delivered in the North West region. We now welcome applications from the remaining 8 regions of England to deliver the next river walks. The implementation grant scheme is designed to support projects in taking a collaborative and strategic approach to water management within lowland peatland catchments. DCMS is providing grant funding for delivery partner(s) to test an innovative three-year ‘Connections through Gaming’ pilot that will use gaming as a route to engage boys aged 11–16 who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation or low wellbeing. The pilot will combine gaming-based activities, structured wellbeing and confidence-building support; opportunities to build friendships, confidence and positive social connections, both online and in person. The pilot is particularly focused on boys aged 11-16 who: - may be becoming withdrawn or isolated; - are struggling to build or maintain social connections; - are not currently engaging with existing youth services; and - would benefit from additional support before challenges become more entrenched.

MEGS provides match-funding grant support to representatives of UK-based music acts (normally music management companies or record labels who meet SME criteria) to help deliver high-quality marketing and promotion campaigns normally linked to international tours to enable these acts to grow their international business. The scheme is targeted at artists that have achieved reasonable levels of commercial success in the UK and are now looking to break internationally. Successful recipients can claim no more than 50 per cent of eligible expenditure for their projects. No UK activity can be funded.

Following the publication of Better Connected, the Department for Transport has launched the Integrated Transport Digital Twin (ITDT) Fund. This £30 million fund will support selected local transport authorities to develop digital twin trials that improve transport integration, network performance and resilience.
